Best Electric Cars For 2022

In terms of price and practicality, the Chevy Bolt is the best electric car of the moment. But its interior quality and driving dynamics aren’t quite as impressive as the Tesla Model S. That being said, it still offers tremendous range for its price. If you’re interested in a midsize, midpriced car that’s comfortable and fast, the Bolt is worth considering. It will be refreshed for the 2022 model year and should get a price cut to compete with the Tesla Model Y.

Ford is already launching a line of electric trucks. The new F-150 Lightning will cost under $40K and come with either a 230-mile or 300-mile battery. The truck has a minimum of 426 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque. It also has a ton of cool tech features, including a head-turning hood and tailgate that can be controlled from the inside of the vehicle. It will have enough power to power a home for three days.

The Nissan Leaf is a solid option for those looking for simple city electric transportation, but many electric car buyers are looking for more character and gumption than the Nissan Leaf offers. In fact, the car feels stuck in the mid-2010s, with a sexy design and a high price tag. The interior is bland and lacking in higher-tier touches, such as leather upholstery. Plus, the Geartronics system is awkward and the single gear knob is clunky.

The Nissan Leaf is great for basic city EV transportation, but many buyers would prefer a vehicle with a little more personality and gumption. The Leaf’s lack of gumption and personality makes it feel stuck in the mid-2010s. Its interior is a bit dull and feels dated. The dashboard has an excessive amount of plastic, and the single center gear knob is a little clunky.

The Tesla Model X is the top EV of the decade, but it’s still a long way from being the best EV for the future. In the meantime, there are many great electric cars on the market today. The next EV will have a range of about 300 miles. Compared to the current ICE models, it can easily compete with the current M3. But if you’re looking for a practical midsize electric car, the BMW i4’s battery life isn’t as long as its range and power.

The Ford Mach-E is an electric car that has changed the way the company looks. It’s fast and tight, with only 0.21 coefficient of drag. It’s a good fit for a small family or a couple. It’s a comfortable luxury EV that has a low learning curve. It’s a fun way to drive and the Tesla is a good choice for those with a high budget.
